The non-ferrous metal pressure vessel is a kind of container made of non-ferrous metal materials, mostly used for storage and transportation of light, corrosion-resistant, chemical reaction, and other special requirements of the occasion. Here we will go together to understand what is a non-ferrous metal pressure vessel.

Here is the content list:

1. What are the pressure conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

2. What are the temperature conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

3. What are the media conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

What are the pressure conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

Non-ferrous metal pressure vessel pressure can come from two aspects, one is the pressure is generated outside the container (increase), the second is the pressure is generated inside the container (increase).

Maximum working pressure mostly refers to the highest possible pressure at the top of the vessel under normal operating conditions.

Design pressure, refers to the corresponding design temperature used to determine the thickness of the container shell pressure, that is, marked on the nameplate design pressure of the container, non-ferrous metal pressure vessel design pressure value shall not be lower than the highest working pressure; when the container parts or pressurized components subjected to the liquid column static pressure of 5% design pressure, the design pressure and liquid column static pressure should be taken and the design of the part or component design calculations. Pressure vessels equipped with safety valves, the design pressure shall not be lower than the safety valve opening pressure or burst pressure. The design pressure of the vessel should be determined by the corresponding provisions of GB 150.

What are the temperature conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

Metal temperature refers to the average temperature of the container pressurized components along with the thickness of the cross-section. In any case, the surface temperature of the component metal shall not exceed the allowable use temperature of steel.

Design temperature, refers to the container in normal operation, under the corresponding design pressure, shell wall or component metal may reach the highest or lowest temperature. When the shell wall or component metal temperature is lower than -20 ℃, according to the lowest temperature to determine the design temperature; in addition, the design temperature is always selected according to the highest temperature. The design temperature value shall not be lower than the component metal may reach the highest metal temperature; for the metal temperature below 0 ℃, the design temperature shall not be higher than the component metal may reach the lowest metal temperature. The design temperature of the container (i.e., the design medium temperature marked on the container nameplate) is the design temperature of the shell.

What are the media conditions for the use of non-ferrous metal pressure vessels?

Flammable media: refers to the lower limit of explosion mixed with air less than 10%, or the difference between the upper and lower explosive limits greater than or equal to 20% of the gas, such as methylamine, ethane, ethylene, etc.

Pressure vessels in the medium for mixed substances, the composition of the medium and according to the degree of toxicity or flammable media division principles, the design unit of the process design department or the use of the unit of production technology department to determine the degree of toxicity of the medium or whether it is a flammable medium.

Corrosive media, petrochemical media on non-ferrous metal pressure vessel materials with corrosion resistance requirements. Sometimes there are impurities in the medium so that the corrosive intensification. The type and nature of corrosive media vary, coupled with different process conditions, the corrosiveness of the medium is not the same. This requires non-ferrous metal pressure vessels in the selection of materials, in addition to the use of the conditions that should meet the mechanical properties of the requirements, but also have sufficient corrosion resistance, if necessary, to take certain anti-corrosion measures.

The non-ferrous metal pressure vessel manufacturing industry is a comprehensive industry, with high industrial relevance, strong driving ability, high technology content.
